Greenspark: Careers in Applied Petroleum, Green Energy, Sustainability & Emerging Techs

Today’s career awareness session “Greenspark: Careers in Applied Petroleum, Green Energy, Sustainability & Emerging Techs” for students of Classes XI and XII, conducted by Dr. Vamsi Krishna Kudapa, Associate Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, UPES, Dehradun, witnessed the participation of approximately 200 students.

Dr. Kudapa began by discussing the pressing need for sustainable development and the role of future professionals in shaping a greener planet. He provided an overview of the petroleum industry and how innovations are leading to cleaner extraction and processing technologies. The session then shifted focus to green energy sources like solar, wind, and bioenergy, emphasizing their growing demand and the promising career opportunities in research, design, and implementation.
