Topic – Practice Being Selfless

Materials used – Power Point Presentation on the aforementioned topic along with student-counsellor interaction.

Feedback – The session started with general greetings. School Counsellor started with the power point presentation regarding the concept of Selflessness and how it is different from Selfishness. The merits and demerits of being both Selfless and Selfish were discussed. The happiness and inner peace that selflessness brings were highlighted. The ways to practice selflessness were informed to the students.

Parents were also suggested to support their children in this.

Students were happy and curious about the topic discussed as was evident from their feedback requesting for more such sessions. A separate discussion on Road Safety was conducted on the occasion of observing National road safety Month. Students were informed and made aware of the Traffic Rules, Road Safety Rules on the theme: ‘Sadak Suraksha – Jeevan Raksha’.
