Annual Sports Day 2024
Delhi Public School, Durgapur, hosted its 11th Annual Sports Day on December 21, 2024, at the Alloy Steel Plant Stadium. The event was graced by former Indian athlete Sri Rahamatulla Molla as the Chief Guest, who inspired students with his message on the significance of sports in character-building. The day began with a grand inauguration, featuring marchpast by the four houses, vibrant drills, and a stirring performance by the school orchestra. Students demonstrated their skills through nail biting track and field events and captivating displays of martial arts. Medals and trophies were presented to winners, including the Best Athlete and the Champions Trophy. The day celebrated the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and excellence and concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Head Girl, Ritika Kumari.
