Diwali 2021
To Usher in the spirit of upcoming Diwali which is one of the most awaited and widely celebrated festivals of India, Delhi Public School Durgapur conducted a Special Assembly on 3rd November with the students from Pre-primary section on the virtual platform. The coordinator of pre-primary section, Ms. Tina Das, welcomed the audience on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. The beautifully coordinated assembly saw the young students celebrating Diwali with enthusiasm. The celebration included a skit on Diwali which symbolised the triumph of light over darkness. A vibrant ambience was created as the little ones, dressed in ethnic attire, danced to the song “Sabke Liye Happy Diwali” and “Heal the world” which was followed by the display of Diwali craft work. The programme brought a smile on the faces of everyone with a hope to heal the world with happiness, health and prosperity.
