National Mathematics Day 2021
National Mathematics Day is celebrated every year on December 22, honouring the birth anniversary of mathematical genius Srinivasa Ramanujan. He is remembered for his unique mathematical brilliance and substantial contributions in the field of Mathematics. The students of DPS, Durgapur celebrated the 134th birth anniversary of this great mathematical genius on virtual platform. They presented a unique performance to bring out the beauty of magic square through numbers which was followed by a demonstration of the little ones on how shapes are related to our daily lives .The programme was concluded with a dance performance , highlighting the importance of Zero. The event developed the awareness about the importance of mathematics.
