Delhi Public School Durgapur celebrated the 164th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore with vibrant cultural splendour. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and floral tribute to Gurudev, followed by a welcome address by the Principal- Sh Umesh Ch. Jaiswal. Students presented soulful songs penned and composed by the Gurudev, an instrumental fusion, and a humorous play ‘Juto r Abishkar’. A multicultural dance performance in five languages paid tribute to Tagore’s global legacy. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem and expressions of gratitude, honouring Tagore’s vision of unity, creativity, and cultural pride.
