Raksha Bandhan

Delhi Public School Durgapur marked the joyous occasion of Raksha Bandhan by celebrating the cherished bond between brothers and sisters.  The Pre-Primary section of the school celebrated Raksha Bandhan with heartwarming activities. The young students eagerly participated in making handmade rakhis. These tiny-tots visited the school personnel and the senior most students of the school and tied Rakhis, thanking them for being their guiding lights. In return the senior students gifted them with chocolates, thus filling the atmosphere with joy and love.

Members of students council  visited the local Police-stations, where they tied Rakhis on the wrists of the police personnel as a gesture of gratitude for their service in protecting the community.

The celebration instilled the values of love, care, respect, and responsibility not only among siblings but also for all in the society.
