A Night of Reverence and Radiance
On 25th September, the Srijani Auditorium sparkled with celebration and pride as Delhi Public School Durgapur marked its 10th Annual Prize Day – Reverence 2025. The evening unfurled like a grand tapestry of talent, spirit, and creativity, as nearly 800 young stars of DPS Durgapur lit up the stage with mesmerizing music, graceful dance, vibrant costumes, and flawless performances .
Honoring the occasion was our esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Aditi Chaudhary a dynamic IAS officer and the CEO of ADDA. Her presence added grace and motivation to the celebration. Also gracing the evening was Mr. Sanjiv Agarwal, Vice Chairman of Om Dayal Educational & Research Society, whose words encouraged the students to dream big and shine brighter .
The celebration began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp , followed by the welcome song, that was a thematic overture creating the atmosphere for an unforgettable evening. Parents, teachers, alumni, and guests filled the hall with warmth and applause .
A special moment of pride unfolded with the inauguration of the school’s Annual Digital Magazine SHADES unveiling of a new chapter in creativity, where the voices, visions, and dreams of young minds find a timeless space.
The highlight of the day – the Prize Distribution Ceremony – witnessed 563 shining achievers being felicitated for their excellence in academics, sports, and co-curricular pursuits.
The crowning jewel of the celebration was the enthralling dance drama “The Jungle Book – A Story in Shades and Shadows”. This spectacular performance carried a message of rewilding, conservation, and harmony with nature , leaving the audience spellbound.
Our Principal, Sri Umesh Chand Jaiswal, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s journey of achievements . The evening drew to a close with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Head Girl ,Sohana Roy Burman, and the National Anthem that filled every heart with pride .
Truly, Reverence- 2025 was not just an event , it was a celebration of dreams, dedication, and DPS spirit.
