Vasantotsav 2026 – Spectrum Splash was celebrated at Delhi Public School, Durgapur, welcoming the season of spring and the vibrant spirit of Holi. The event emerged as a joyful confluence of culture, creativity, and youthful talent.
A series of interschool competitions were organised, with participation from schools across Durgapur, Burdwan, and Kolkata. The competitions included Solo Melodic Instrument, Dance, Solo Song, and Art & Craft, providing a dynamic platform for students to showcase their artistic excellence.
The Pre-Primary Ramp Show, featuring young learners accompanied by their parents, added a heartwarming touch with colourful attire and confident smiles, reflecting innocence and joy.
The enchanting cultural programme highlighted a lyrical dance on “Ore Grihobasi” meticulously replicating the timeless Shantiniketan style—blending Rabindra Sangeet with traditional dance, the energetic Dandiya performance, and a semi-classical dance were an artistic expression in a symphony of color and joy.
Like spring in full bloom, Vasantotsav 2026 stood as a celebration of cultural heritage, creative expression, and the blossoming dreams of young minds.
