Career as a Company Secretary
Conducted by Mr. Sumanta Dutta, Junior Executive from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), a career counselling seminar “Career as a Company Secretary,” was organised in the school premises on the 12th August, 2024 to provide our students a comprehensive overview of the profession. Mr. Dutta highlighted the critical role of a Company Secretary in corporate governance, legal compliance, and strategic management. He detailed the pathway to becoming a Company Secretary, emphasizing the importance of the ICSI’s rigorous training and examination process. His discourse explored the details of CSEET as well as the subjects studied during the course. The session also covered the growing demand for Company Secretaries in various industries, offering attractive career prospects and opportunities for professional growth. Our students found the seminar both informative and inspiring.
