Delhi Public School, Durgapur hosted career counselling desks set up by IDP Education on the school campus to guide students of Classes XI and XII aspiring to pursue undergraduate studies abroad, thus providing authentic, structured, and personalized guidance on international education pathways.
The counselling kiosks witnessed enthusiastic participation as students interacted directly with experienced IDP counsellors throughout the day. The sessions addressed a wide range of student queries, including application procedures, college and course research, profile building, and SOP (Statement of Purpose) writing. Special emphasis was laid on helping students understand how to align their academic interests, extracurricular strengths, and career goals while building a competitive profile for global universities.
The counsellors also provided valuable insights into scholarship opportunities, financial planning, visa processes, and important aspects such as stay-back options and post-study work visas in different countries. Country-specific requirements, timelines, and documentation were clearly explained, enabling students to gain clarity and confidence regarding their future plans.
